Dental concerns during Coronavirus? Guittard & Sierra Family Dentistry introducing virtual care

The COVID-19 crisis has affected almost every aspect of our lives, and how we receive dental care is no different.
The California Department of Public Health has directed dentists to suspend providing care with the exception of emergencies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
To comply with these recommendations and keep our Central Coast community safe, Guittard & Sierra Family Dentistry has postponed all non-emergency procedures until a later date. And we’re evaluating emergency cases on a case-by-case basis.
But that doesn’t mean you should put off your dental care.

Schedule your virtual appointment
Our practice is committed to making sure all your dental needs are met during this trying time. We will continue to see patients virtually to address dental issues while keeping you safe and healthy during the Coronavirus pandemic.
If you have a dental issue, concern or question, call or fill out an inquiry to schedule a virtual teledentistry visit with Dr. Sierra. We will set up a video call, phone conversation or even chat over text messages to assess your needs with the same expertise that you would receive during an in-person visit.
Guittard & Sierra dentistry taking precautions
In the meantime, it’s important to keep up a health dental routine. Brush two minutes, twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste and floss regularly. Avoid sugary food and drinks to reduce the risk of cavities. When conditions change, we will again be available to help you maintain your oral health through regular preventive and treatment services.
Once life begins to return to normal, Guittard & Sierra Family Dentistry will continue to take the utmost precautions to keep patients safe and healthy. Our practice will maintain strict adherence to the recommendations of California Dental Association and other health officials. For the immediate future, we will encourage virtual consultations whenever possible to assess and prioritize care.
Once normal in-office visits resume, we will follow all recommended steps to keep you, our doctors and staff safe and healthy.
We look forward to continuing to serve you and your family safely and effectively.
Note: Because of dental licensing, Guittard & Sierra Family Dentistry has made our virtual consultation services available to patients solely in the state of California.
